Welcome to the Online Intuitive Development Course. You can leave your left brain behind. There's no memorizing, analyzing, calculating or logic. Better yet, there's no "right" or "wrong". Intuitive is a very positive place to be. You'll love it and your intuition will improve by leaps and bounds during the course.
This course is interactive. Each lesson is geared to take at least one week. Please don't rush through the lessons because you will need time to integrate the experience into your Self wholistically.
There are feedback loops all through the course. I encourage you to take as much time as you want to think about them before answering, so long as you "think" with your right brain. In most cases you will not want to change your immediate first impression, but you may want to put some thought into how it connects with other things you know or have experienced and also may want to do some more research with suggested links and observe the princpiles in action in your own life.
In these forms, we use email rules of spelling and grammar. It isn't important that your answer is beautifully crafted and perfectly spelled. Most of us don't have time for this process nowadays. It is quite enough if I understand what you're saying and if you get value out of the exercise. Beautifully crafted answers are appreciated but not necessary. Introverted intuitives prefer to express themselves in writing, but this is not the case with extroverted intuitives, who may want to put their point across in "bullets" or "keywords" and move on to the outer world of experience.
This means there is nothing to "know", nothing to memorize, nothing to categorize and nothing to conclude. Intuition is an operation which takes place entirely in the right brain. Even if you are only slightly right-brained, intuition will begin to build a bridge beween the left and the right brain. As well as being exciting and helpful in daily life, developing your intuition will balance your brain hemispheres and make you more complete, whole and healed.
Two other activities which promote balanced brain hemispheres are learning a foreign language and learning to play a musical instrument! Have you done either? Can you relate to this?
The statement in the above paragraph uses the right brain because it asks you to draw an analogy between something you know and something you don't know. This is right brain thinking. Do you remember the part of the SATs where you have to "compare and contrast" (called "mix and match" for bright little kids?) This part of the exam tests your right brain ability. From college forward, we leave the province of the left brain and move more and more into right brain territory. There are also more introverts the higher you go in education.
Using the right brain is like connecting the dots. It is also taking information and turning it into knowledge. We parrot things in elementary school and in high school much of the learning is rote memorization. This is a necesary step in our development. But in college, we begin to do what is called, "think for ourselves".
