PART ONE: Please email me your answers.

Look up the following words and tell me what they mean: Persephone, Magia, Anima, Siren, Oracle, Dakini, Saltatus and Telluric. This is increasing your intuition vocabulary. The intuitive part of the brain "thinks" in images, frequently universal symbols like these. When you develop the ability to describe them verbally, they will multiple and speak more regularly to you. One of the laws of the universe is this: what you pay attention to multiplies.

Try to put into words what you sense or "know" about the painting. For example, Why is s/he facing left, right, looking up and down. Why are the eyes open or closed, meeting your eyes or looking down? away? What are the shapes that you see and what do they symbolize? Refer to the chart below.

Review definitions of basic shapes:

Triangle, aspirational, sometimes danger

famous 3's: the 3 Fates, also [thesis, antithesis and synthesis] - often associated with women and yin energy

Square, the most stable form, bringing things into manifestation

famous 4's: the four corners of the globe, cardinal directions, seasons, thinking inside the box or "squared away" , yang energy

Rectangle: less stable than the square but stable

Circle: wholeness, fullness in time, sometimes symbolizes God or the Self

famous circles: mandalas, the Sun

Review of directions: up is aspiring to the supraconscious (angelic or higher guidance), down is grounded or depressed, left is to the past or unconscious and right is to the future or conscious

 

 

As the artist of these shapes, declared, "I am not being patronizing. All later parts of the tutorial assume that you can draw any of these shapes with ease. Please take them seriously!"

The beginning lessons in Intuitive Development may seem simple but they are laying a powerful groundwork for lessons to come. Please take them seriously. Intuition develops slowly "in the dark" so to speak and one day springs forth full blown!

Intuition is like looking UP. It is a positive, UPlifting and illuminating experience. What is the feeling you get from these paintings? What about the use of color? What do you think the artist is trying to express? Is this artist in touch with his intuition? How do you know?

These answers may seem obvious to you but the stretch is to begin to find the words to describe what you "know". This will develop your intuition.

In what way do these terms differ from each other? Please give me a definition of these words in your own way and how you think they differ from intuition. It's also ok to look it up in a search engine and quote from there. I am looking for you to get better acquainted with these nuances of meanings about gifts in the inner world. It's part of mapping the territory and learning to out what you "know" into words so that you become more conscious of what you know.
